Holmsárfoss waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in the river Hólmsá at Syðri Fjallabak in the Highland in Iceland. It is a place that is a joy to visit but has proven very difficult to photograph. Strangely the waterfall is much more interesting to visit than to photograph. In a sense, it is a photographic challenge since a photo that conveys its stunning beauty has yet to be taken. I have made many attempts but must admit that I have not successfully shared what I see and experience. So the challenge is still open.
