At the Reykjanes Peninsula there are a number of great places for photography. The south shoreline is quite long, accessable, not far from Reykjavík and the airport, and has a lot to offer in all seasons. From late September until March it is a great place for sunrise and sunset photos. One of the best places to visit is Selatangar.
