Between three glaciers, Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, and Tindfjallajökull is an oasis. A remote valley or a natural wonder filled with a beautiful landscape called Þórsmörk. Although the altitude is not high, as is usually the case with the Highland, and not far from the main road, it is typically referred to as part of the Icelandic Highland. One reason is the fact that it is only accessible in an excellent 4X4 off-road vehicle. For photography, Þórsmörk is a vast place filled with photo opportunities and a place where you can spend three to four days with your camera, lenses, and tripod.
