The canyon Sigöldugljúfur is a magical place in a sense that it has this out of this world feeling. It is beautiful and fund to visit and photograph. Visiting the canyon is not difficult although it is located in the highland but requires a short hike unless you have a good 4X4 vehicle. For 8 months during late autumn, in winter and early spring, the canyon is covered with snow.
