For many reasons, the Lóndrangar stack is an impressive natural wonder. One is the fact that the stacks are photogenic and have many photographic angles. It is a place that is always greatly affected by seasons, low and high tides, the different golden hours in Iceland, placement of the sun, and the weather. It is also easily accessible from the main road around Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
