Although renowned for its place in Iceland's history, today, Ingjaldshóll church is mostly famous among photographers because of its spectacular placement in the landscape. In summer, the foreground is blooming with the purple lupin. In the background, the glacier Snæfellsjökull makes everything look even more extraordinary. The church is just a short drive from the main road at Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Like all of Snæfellsnes, Inngjaldshóll is accessible for photography all year round.
