You can find geothermal activity, both high and low-pressure systems, in many places in Iceland. There are two main sites to visit at Reykjanes Peninsula in the southwest region of Iceland: Gunnuhver, and the other one is Seltún. The steam and the hot spring at Gunnuhver is much more powerful. For photography, it is an exciting site to stop at and walk around with a camera. It is also interesting to walk in a bit of a distance from the actual hot spring as there are places that make a great foreground.
